Dr. Felix Backer
Vice-President for Public Relations

Felix Backer a native of “La Perle des Antilles”, Haiti, attended Long
Island University where he got his BA in Psychology. He then
received three Master’s degrees at the same institution: M.S. Ed. in
T.E.S.O.L., M.S. in Counseling and development, and M.S. Ed in
Administration. Recently, he has received a Master’s degree in
Theology.
He has worked for the New York City Board of Education for number
of years, in many capacities. He is currently a Clinical Therapist at
Erasmus Hall High School. In addition, he has taught Haitian-Creole,
served as Haitian-Creole Book Reviewer at NYC Board of Education
and as professor of Bilingual Haitian-Creole at Goodrich School He
is the Director of Horeb Day Care Center, in the Borough of
Brooklyn. Mr. Backer is married to former Nadia Saturné. Together,
they have three beautiful daughters.
