François Léandre (Click here for the French version.)
Secretary

One does not draw a man from his modest universe without the prejudice to clarify
certain traits of exceptional personality, even unique ones.  François Léandre
estimates not to have any characteristic which distinguishes him from the common
mortals.  He projects the profile of the prototype of Montaigne whose idea is to give
himself to others and to be given only to oneself. Silent observer, circumspect
analyst, with his independent mind, he has extracted from men and things the
impressions on which he solidify the parameters of his interaction or his social
integration. Professor of Humanities as of his earliest youth, he was able to
insufflate to the young minds that were entrusted to him, the passion of the going
beyond of oneself, which catapulted more than one towards the most advanced
avenues of arts and sciences.

Of a soft and peaceful character, his altruism and his sensitivity towards the
injustices of his medium led him, however, towards the temple of THEMIS where his
efforts were crowned by obtaining a masters degree in law.  As a result of the
complaints and alarms of his anxious parents, with regard to the turnaround of this
young, threatened, talent to be an easy footstool during the Duvaliers era, he had
to give up his vocation of defender of the widows and the orphans to be lost in the
anonymity of the spangled Republic. Mr. Léandre has been living in the United
States for twenty-five years where he obtained a baccalaureate in
Electromechanical Technology from the City University of New York School of
Technology and a certificate in Family Life counseling / Education from Andrews
University. He shares his time between his job with the US Postal Services where
he assumes the position of Clerk and Inspector, his church where he wears the
hats of Secretary, Deacon and Elder, and his family where the job is indefinite and
renews itself constantly. Léandre is an assertive and extrovert individual, always
prompt to listen, naturally inclined to be useful. He is married to Angélique Nelson.
Together, they have two adult children.
